Insecurity Hits House of God in Abuja As 10 Armed Robbers Raid Dunamis Church, Stab Guard

  • Some armed robbers have invaded Dunamis church in Abuja, stabbing a security guard in the process
  • In fact, the criminals were said to have come from the slums in the area while the security guard was stabbed for resisting them
  • Meanwhile, the incident has reportedly left residents of the District Centre Estate, Phase 4, Kubwa in fear

Armed robbers on Monday, October 4, invaded the Dunamis International Gospel Centre by suspected robbers on Monday.

The criminals were said to have stabbed a security guard, identified only as John, in the stomach and ripped off his intestines.

According to Punch Newspaper, the criminals were about 10 in numbers. The newspaper reprts that eye witness claimed they arrived in the church from the shanties and slums in the neighbourhood.

“The incident happened around 3am on Monday. The robbers came and John tried to resist them. During the fracas, he was overpowered and stabbed in the stomach.
“He was rushed to the General Hospital in Kubwa but because doctors were on strike, there was nothing that could be done. He was thereafter transferred to another private hospital in Abuja.”

Five BuhariMustGo protesters arrested in Dunamis Church freed by SSS

Meanwhile the State Security Service (SSS) has released five Buhari-Must-Go protesters including a blind saxophonist, who were arrested by the agency about a month ago at the Dunamis International Gospel Centre in Abuja.

The saxophonists; Ben Manasseh, Anene Udoka, Henry Nwodo, Samuel Larry and Samuel Gabriel, were arrested for wearing T-shirts with ‘Buhari-Must-Go’ inscription to the church on July 4.

While confirming the release of the detainees in a statement, Temokun said the SSS bowed to the fireworks from the people of Nigeria, saying they fought a good battle in court.

Speaking of his clients’ arrest, Temokun said the young Nigerians attended the Dunamis church in Abuja, to seek God’s intervention for Nigeria at this difficult time.

Pastor David Ibiyeomie builds brand new 100% scholarship primary school in Port Harcourt

In another report, Ibiyeomie had built a brand new primary school where students were on a full scholarship.

The school is an A-level primary school with all the basic amenities needed and a very conducive environment for learning. To be enrolled into the academic institution, students were expected to pass the entrance examination of the school.

Photos shared on Salvation Ministries official Facebook page showed the pastor officially declaring the school open. The cleric was also received by staff and students of the school on arrival to commission the institution.
