A 22-year-old lady, Lucia Osamo, has revealed that she became a taxi driver because she could not afford N5,000 to register for JAMB.

In an exclusive interview with Legit TV’s Temitope Wuraola, she said that she sometimes gets hit on by some of her male customers who would say that she is too pretty to be doing her kind of work.

The young lady said that after finishing her ND in mineral and petroleum resources from Auchi Poly, she became a taxi driver when furthering her education was a big problem. Lucia added that she had to sponsor herself through polytechnic.

Her childhood dream is to become an engineer. Lucia said that most people always commented how young she is really is. According to her, people cancelled trips on her just because she is a lady.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a 24-year-old lady, Fortune Okudaye, narrated how she used her dispatch riding business to pay her school fees while she was in Lagos.

Fortune who is from Delta state said that the worst advice she has got from people was that she is too beautiful to be riding a bike under the hot sun in Lagos state.

In similar news, a Nigerian graduate, Amarachi Ihezie, whose story went viral days ago for being a keke driver despite having a university degree spoke about her life.

Amarachi said that when she first informed her friends that she wanted to be a driver, they laughed and said that she is going into a male-dominated profession.
