FCT, Abuja- A Federal High Court in Abuja has fixed Thursday, October 14 for the arraignment of Olisa Metuh, former national publicity secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over an alleged N400 million fraud.
The Cable reports that the arraignment which was initially scheduled for Tuesday, September 28, was adjourned following the absence of Obiora Egwuatu, the judge.
All the parties involved in the matter, including Metuh, were present in court, yet the trial could not proceed.

Metuh would be re-tried over allegations of receiving the sum of 400 million from the former national security adviser in 2014 under the administration of Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), prior to the 2015 presidential election, without contract approval or execution, Channels TV also reported.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the Supreme Court has lost one of its judges, Samuel Chukwudumebi Oseji, who passed away on Tuesday, September 28.
Late Justice Oseji who is the 17th judge of the apex court to be confirmed dead, died on Tuesday at the age of 67.
Hailing from Aniocha North local government area of Delta state, he was said to have been sworn in as a justice of the court in November 2020.
EFCC declares 24-year-old wanted, shares picture of suspect for nationwide identification
Earlier, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has solicited the help of Nigerians in locating a suspect who is wanted for alleged fraud.
The anti-graft agency in a statement shared on its official Facebook page on Monday, September 20, declared a 24-year-old identified as Adewale Daniel Jayeoba wanted.
Legit.ng gathered that Jayeoba, a native of Ori-Ade local government of Osun state is the marketing director of Wales Kingdom Capital.
