President Muhammadu Buhari has been described as a man who sleeps having Nigerians at heart.

This is according to Governor Muhammadu Badaru of Jigawa state, The Cable reports.

According to him, Buhari has done well for Nigerians in ensuring infrastructural development to fast-track sustainable social and economic development in the country, Punch Newspaper added.

He praised Buhari on his economic policies, particularly the implementation of the agriculture transformation and National Social Investment Programme (NSIP).

He said:

“Buhari is honest, transparent and sleeps with Nigerians at heart. Nigerians begin to see the effort of Buhari in all sectors and people are now joining the APC in thousands.”

Legit.ng reports that following the defection of some governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and other party bigwigs to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), the presidency has said the main opposition party in the country may become empty before the 2023 general elections.

Legit.ng reports that the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Femi Adesina stated this on Thursday, July 8, in a piece titled, ‘Speaking to PDP in the language it understands.’

Adesina stated that in 2015, by the time the dust of general elections settled, the APC had 24 governors and that the PDP had 12 while the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) had one.

He stated that the kidnapping of students, mostly in northern states, was already threatening school enrolments in the region.
