Pastor Kumuyi Reveals When Agitation Will End in NIgeria

  • Pastor William Kumuyi has revealed that for all the agitation in the country to stop, there must be an end to injustice in the country

The General Superintendent, Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DLCM) and Deeper Life Bible Church Worldwide, Pastor William Kumuyi, has revealed how agitations from various people can be stopped.

According to the respected cleric, injustice must be addressed in Nigeria for this to happen.

Going further, Kumuyi also urged Nigerians to never relent in praying for their leaders as the desired answers would come, Leadership Newspaper reports.

Kumuyi who is a firm believer in one Nigeria disclosed this while addressing journalists during the ongoing 6-day crusade in Abuja.

Going further, he said there must be freedom of expression in the country because that is what Democracy guarantees.

The cleric stated:

“We thank God for democracy, in a democratic environment, there should be freedom of speech and when you have a population of more than 120 million in a single country, not all those people in the country will be satisfied the way the country is.
“In our country here, we have had people who have voiced it out, that this is what they would prefer, but you must understand that they don’t represent probably the majority of the country."

South-south gives FG ultimatum

In another report, a strong message has been sent to the federal government by the south-south geo-political zone.

Leaders in the zone after a meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers state, in efforts to drive home their demand for a new way of doing things in the country, gave the federal government a three-month ultimatum to start the process of restructuring Nigeria.

The leaders also called on the APC led federal government to convene a national dialogue for the purpose of charting a new course for the country.

Nigeria is better off united

Recall that southeast leaders disowned the secessionist activities of IPOB and other pro-Biafran agitators, saying the groups don't speak for the Igbo.

The leaders which include governors, federal lawmakers, elders, traditional and religious leaders in the region, affirmed their commitment to one united Nigeria.

The decision was taken after a closed-door security meeting at the Enugu state government house.
