Chelsea Star Set to Join Premier League Rivals After Agreeing to Leave Stamford Bridge
- Billy Gilmour has been impressive since his debut for Chelsea in 2020 under the tutelage of Frank Lampard
- Norwich City are now looking to snap him up on loan, with the newly-promoted side keen to strengthen their squad ahead of next season

Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour is reportedly on the verge of leaving Samford Bridge ahead of a season-long loan move to Norwich City.
Despite impressing in fleeting performances since making his debut for the Blues in 2020 under Frank Lampard, Gilmour has found it difficult to nail a starting role at the club.
The Scottish is currently behind Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic in the pecking order, a situation that has left him with no choice but to seek a move away.
SunSport reports the promising midfielder is in line to join Norwich for the rest of the season next term, with the newly-promoted side desperate to bolster their squad.
Last week, the publication claimed Norwich were in a pole position to land the 20-year-old who is also angling for first-team football.
According to Sky Sports, Gilmour has already agreed to move to Norwich for a season and the deal could be announced in the coming days.
The development came only days after the former Rangers academy starlet produced a man-of-the-match performance for Scotland against England in the Euros at Wembley.
Lukaku ignores Manchester City
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku has reportedly turned down a chance to join Premier League champions Manchester City this summer.
The Belgian star helped Inter Milan win their first Serie A title in over a decade but became a transfer subject after the exit of Antonio Conte from the club a few weeks back.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for the former Everton and Manchester United star but he has insisted that he is happy at his present club.
He believes that Nerazzurri can retain the league title next season even without the Italian-born manager.
Eto's wants Ramos at Barcelona
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Barcelona legend Samuel Eto'o has urged the Catalans to sign Spanish defender Sergio Ramos this summer.
The 35-year-old centre-back ended his 16-year relationship with Real Madrid this month after refusing to extend his stay at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Since then, Ramos has been linked with two major clubs - Paris Saint Germain and Manchester United but the Cameroonian wants his former club to make an attempt to lure him to Camp Nou.
