For the second time in the space of seven days, the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed once again to beat the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon as their game ended in a 0-0 draw on Tuesday, June 8.

Super Eagles of Nigeria went into this encounter with the hope of them getting a win having lost their first tie against Cameroon 1-0 in Austria, but they were unable to get a win.

The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho and Moffi missed some chances which would have given the Super Eagles the win over Cameroon in this international friendly game.

However, many Nigerians were angry after the final whistle with coach Gernot Rohr being attacked for his failure to beat Cameroon in two games.

According to the comments under Legit FB page, people demanded that Gernot Rohr should be sacked as the coach of the Super Eagles.

Gernot Rohr has been the coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria since 2016 when he replaced Sunday Oliseh who decided to walk away.

And since the German came on board, Super Eagles have not won any title with their best position as third at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.

They also failed to go past the group stages at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia losing their last game against Argentina.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how the Super Eagles of Nigeria have concluded their double friendly matches against Cameroon in Austria without a win.

Despite dominating the second game on Tuesday, June 8, at the Stadion Weiner Neustadt, Vienna, Austria, Gernot Rohr's men failed to find the back of the net with a flurry of chances.

With the Indomitable Lions winning the first game four days earlier, the Super Eagles were under pressure to register a win as it will affect their position on the FIFA rankings.

The Eagles missed the services of William Troost-Ekong and Jamilu Collins following respective injuries in he first match.

Rohr was forced to look for a replacement for the duo in their next meeting as both teams continued to prepare for their World Cup qualifiers.
