Respected movie icon, Richard Mofe-Damijo, stirred mixed reactions from his Instagram followers after telling them about the state of his mind in recent times.

The Nollywood actor explained that he has nothing to be cheerful about which is something that has not happened to him for the first time in a very long while.

RMD highlighted the increase in the death rate in different parts of the country adding that he has also lost so many people that he knows.

According to the actor, a lot of Nigerians have found themselves in the grip of uncertainty.

In his words:

"Uncertainty holds us all ransom. If ever the use of “The Hand of God” in theatre is more needed, it is now, in this Nigerian Play of Despair and Desolation. Divine intervention, where you dey? We are at our wits end surely!"
