Babies, with their adorable nature, can be unintentionally funny in their attempt to imitate adult activities. The effort of an infant in singing Nigeria's national anthem has drawn commendation and awe from a presidential media aide, Lauretta Onochie.

Via her Twitter page on Thursday, June 3, Onochie shared an interesting, short video clip of the little girl as she sang the lyrics of the anthem while the instrumental was playing in the background.

Reacting to the rendition, President Buhari's aide praised her parents for training the little one to be the smart child she is.

Her words:

"Great Nigerian!Our hope for the future.Thank you, dear child. Great thanks to your parents."

Buhari, Osinbajo celebrate with Nigerian kids on Children's Day

Meanwhile, Buhari and his vice, Professor Yemi Osinbajo hosted 10 students at the State House, Abuja as the country celebrated the 2021 Children’s Day.

It was gathered that students represented 546 others from the Northeast Children’s Learning Centre in Maiduguri, Borno state.

This was made known in a statement made available to Legit.ng on Thursday, May 27.

According to Osinbajo, the progress of the children had been closely monitored because both he and the president believed their context gave a beautiful opportunity to prove that we could educate and empower kids to the highest level.

He went on to note that the centre was set up in 2017 by the NGO North East Children's Trust, a private sector-led initiative, to nature, renew and empower kids made vulnerable by the conflict in the northeast.

The vice president while noting that from the cusp of democracy to an assurance of lofty dreams, these kids share and represent an inspiring and immersive story, urge the Nigerian children to fly.
