The two players have fallen significantly in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge, sparking speculation they could be moved on.

Metro UK reports there is a long list of players available for sale at the west London club this summer, with Thomas Tuchel keen to trim his current squad in readiness for next season.

Tuchel has shown little faith in Abraham since his arrival at Chelsea in January, with Timo Werner and Kai Havertz already ahead of the Englishman in the pecking order.

It is now understood the Blues will be ready to listen to offers for the academy graduate who will not be short of potential suitors.

Daily Mail claims that West Ham have registered interest in the forward and are keen to sign him alongside Barkley.

Barkley is currently considered surplus to requirements having been shipped out on loan to Aston Villa during the 2020/21 season.

And whereas he had a bright start to life at Villa Park, his performance in the second half of the season were silent and did not catch the eye of Tuchel.

Chelsea are demanding around £40m for Abraham, a price tag West Ham are unlikely to match.

However, the Hammers are said to be open to have him on loan and acquire Barkley on a permanent transfer.

The London club must contend with competition in their race to land Abraham, with both Aston Villa and Wolves also thought to be keen.

The sale of fringe players is expected to boost Tuchel's transfer kitty, with the German making it clear he is looking at making two or three signings.
