Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino who has been linked with a possible return to Premier League club Tottenham has reportedly indicated his willingness to leave the French capital.

Mirror are claiming that they understand that the tactician has told PSG chiefs he is ready to quit the club.

He was linked with the Real Madrid job as well but Carlo Ancelotti has been appointed to take over at the Spanish club.

But despite failing to win Ligue 1 at the just concluded season, PSG are desperate in keeping the Argentine and will do anything to make him stay.

A Paris based outlet Liberation are claiming that Pochettino’s mind is already made up and wants to leave the club amid interest of Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

It was gathered that the club owner regrets sacking the manager and now wants him to return after 18 months.

Tottenham replaced Pochettino with Jose Mourinho, but things went from bad to worse in north London, with the Portuguese eventually being sacked and taking the top job at Roma.

Pochettino would only consider a Spurs return if Harry Kane snubs a transfer away.

Carlo Ancelotti parted ways with Premier League outfit Everton to become the new head coach at Real Madrid.

The 61-year old leaves Goodison Park after 18 months in charge to take over at Real Madrid for a second stint, after managing Los Blancos between 2013 and 2015.

Real Madrid made the official announcement on social media with a video captioned “Welcome back, Ancelotti”.

The Italian succeeds Zinedine Zidane, who recently left the job and later said the Real Madrid hierarchy no longer had faith in him.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been rated the best manager in the world according to the top 20 shortlists by UK football website, 90Min.

The Spanish-born tactician stands a chance to lead his Premier League club to their first Champions League glory when they face rivals, Chelsea, later this month.

He has already clinched the EFL Cup, and the EPL silverware looks pretty much going back to the Etihad Stadium at the end of this season.

With three English topflight titles and a possible UCL triumph along with other domestic successes, the former Barcelona handler appears fit for the position he has been placed in.
