Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Nigeria vs Cameroon international friendly game took another turn as six out of nine defenders have withdrawn from the encounter slated for Friday, June 4, 2021, in Austria.

The likes of Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi, Tyronne Ebuehi, Semi Ajayi, and Valentine Ozornwafor have all pulled out due to respective injury problems.

The number of players out of the fixture has now risen to eight, six of them are defenders with just three left in the squad.

Rohr, however, assured the game will go on, provided the players flying in from England are allowed into Austria and not quarantined.

However, players coming in from England have been allowed into Russia without being quarantined and Rohr believes the match would go on as planned.
