N'Golo Kante has been known for being humble on and off the pitch and another evidence about his lifestyle has emerged, Sport Bible.

The Chelsea midfielder's former teammate Felipe Saad with French second division side Caen claimed that the 30-year-old melted hearts when he was invited to his birthday party.

It was Kante's first time attending a birthday party and the Frenchman did not know what to buy for the celebrant.

The former Leicester City star found his way to the bash and to everyone's surprise, he presented what he felt was an unusual gift to his teammate and apologized.

Felipe explained to Brazilian media news outlet Uol Sport:

"I called [N'Golo] Kanté for my birthday, it was a small party.
"Suddenly, he arrived at the restaurant with a box of chocolates, all ashamed.
"He apologised for the gift and said he didn't know what to get because he had never been invited to a birthday party before."

Kante was man-of-the-match when Chelsea defeated Man City in the Champions League finals in a match played at the Estadio do Dragao.

The France international has now won major football trophies including the Premier League, FA Cup, Champions League and the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that N'Golo Kante has proven to be humble in every aspect of his life as he gave the Champions League trophy a simple pat with both hands while his teammates kissed it, Sport Bible, Twitter.

The France international produced a masterple display as Chelsea scooped their second Champions League title over Premier League rivals Man City.

The 30-year-old who ended the season without a goal in all competitions has now won the biggest trophies in football.

Kante covered every width of the field and also won aerial duels irrespective of the height in his commanding performance against Pep Guardiola's men.
