Thomas Tuchel has reportedly told Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich that he wants a new contract with Chelsea after leading the club to Champions League glory.

Abramovich, who is the Chelsea owner was at the Estadio do Dragao to catch a glimpse of his team, with Metro UK reporting it was the first time he was meeting and speaking with Tuchel since the manager replaced Frank Lampard in January.

The publication further added Tuchel revealed to his boss that he is intent on winning more titles at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after the match, the former PSG manager admitted the European glory may have earned him a new bumper deal with the Blues.

"I spoke to the owner right now on the pitch, I think it was the best moment for the first meeting, or the worst because from now on it can only get worse," Tuchel said.
"We will speak tomorrow, we will speak later, I’m looking forward to this, I can assure him I will stay hungry, that I want the next title and I feel absolutely happy," he added.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that the sound of Olamide and Omah Lay's Infinity took over Chelsea team bus after the London club won their second Champions League title.

Chelsea's record signing Kai Havertz' lone strike in the 42nd minute was all Thomas Tuchel's side needed to be crowned champions of Europe.

England star of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham led the Blues celebration inside the team bus as they sang and danced to Olamide and Omah Lay's hit song 'Infinity'.

Goalkeeper Edouard Mendy and winger Callum Hudson-Odoi also joined in the celebration as they were seen in a video grooving to the song.

Tammy Abraham may have turned down the opportunity to play for Nigeria;s Super Eagles ahead of England's Three Lions but he has not forgotten his roots.
