After spending just six months at Paris Saint-Germain, Argentine football coach Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly in talks with Tottenham chiefs over a return to the Premier League side.
Before being sacked in November 2019, Pochettino spent five years with the North London side without winning any title for the club.
During those years in charge, Tottenham also got to the final of the Champions League and were beaten by fellow Premier League campaigner Liverpool.
According to the report on UK Sun and also Sky Sports, they claimed that 49-year-old is currently in London where he has been having discussions with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.
Tottenham have been without a head coach since Jose Mourinho was sacked and Ryan Mason has been acting on interim capacity.
Interestingly, Jose Mourinho got a new job at Roma days after being sacked at Tottenham and will start officially next season.
Report added that Pochettino is not happy with the running of activities at Paris Saint-Germain.
Spurs' chairman Levy is said to have admitted that firing Pochettino was the biggest mistake of his career as football administrator and he is ready to make amendment.
Meanwhile, since joining Paris Saint-Germain, Pochettino has won the French Super Cup and Coupe de France and he has contract until the end of next season.
However, PSG failed to do well in the Champions League as they were unable to reach the final of the championship.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Real Madrid flop, Eden Hazard, emerged as a top transfer target for new Roma boss Jose Mourinho this summer.
The 30-year-old joined Los Blancos in a deal valued at around €115 million in 2019 but has failed to live up to the huge prize since then - with a series of injuries hampering his performances for them.
He has made just 45 appearances scoring five times and assisting eight other goals after two seasons at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, Mourinho is now hoping to reunite with the Belgian forward having already worked together during the Portuguese's second stint at Chelsea.
Real might be planning to raise funds from Hazard's sale as they are planning to make a move for either PSG star Kylian Mbappe or Borussia Dortmund striker, Erling Haaland.
