Man City's prize money from winning the Premier League is less than what they were earned last season despite coming second behind Liverpool, The Sun, Mirror.

Despite capping up a remarkable season with another crown, their prize money did not replicate their brilliant display on the pitch.

The Citizens went home with £163million, with £123m for TV rights and the remaining £40m for finishing top of the table.

City rivals Manchester United gulped £161m, with the same £123m for broadcast rights and £38m for emerging runners-up.

Third placed and fourth place sides Liverpool and Chelsea have the same amount in TV rights but earned £36m and £34m respectively.

Every other teams in the English topflight division recieved the same amount and below is the comprehensive Premier League prize money 2020/21 for all teams.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Yakubu Aiyegbeni's exploits in the Premier League has not been forgotten as the legendary Nigerian striker was ranked 38th among the 50 greatest strikers in the English topflight division, Sport Bible, 90min.
