A Nigerian man has expressed his displeasure on the internet over the current trend in academic institutions.

The man identified as Mubaraka Anwar slammed, in a Facebook post, the country's leaders for making learning and life difficult for the average Nigerian student despite having it easy many years ago.

He was critical about the tuition cost that seems to always be on an upward review.

To further buttress and drive home his point, he shared an old meal ticket dated 1973 that was used in University of Ibadan.

In the receipt he shared, food was sold to students during the 1972/1973 academic session of UI at a fee of 25 Kobo.

He prayed for God's deliverance of the country.

Mubaraka wrote:

"Those who enjoyed free meal, are the ones making life increasing tuition fees for Nigerians at this moment.
"May God deliver us."

Responding to his post, a Facebook user named Kabiru Sani Auwalu remarked;

"Amen, O Father of the Father, O Father of the Lord."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man had found 1988 and 1993 receipts of two 2-bedroom flats his parent shad rented at N180 and N325 respectively.

He lamented the current situation in the country and enquired where the country was headed.

Nigerians took to the comment section to also lament the economic state of things in the country. There were those who said it wasn't however easy to come by those amount in the 1980s.
