Another Top Premier League Manager Confirms Exit From Club At End Of The Season

Nuno Espirito Santo will be stepping down as Wolves manager after their final Premier League game of the season against Ma United, BBC, Evening Standard.

The Portuguese gaffer has spent four years at the Molineux, from leading the team back to the Premier League in his first season at the Championships.

And maintaining back-to-back seventh place finishes as well as a quarter final berth in the Europa League last season.

The 47-year-old and the club have mutually accepted to part waysbut he has cemented the club's status in the English topflight division.

Wolves are currently in 12th position as they welcome visiting Man United in front of their home crowd at the Molineux.

The match against the Red Devils would serve as a farewell game for the manager who played as a goalkeeper during his footballing career.

Nuno said:

“Since the first day we arrived at Compton, our ambition was to make a positive change and push this football club forward, and I am proud to say that we did that every single day. We achieved our goals, we did it with passion and we did it together.
"I want to thank each-and-every player that we’ve worked with since the day we started. Our last game against Man United will be a very emotional day, but I am so happy that the fans will be back in Molineux and we can share one last special moment together, as one pack.”

Nuno has so far worked with many players especially 11 Portuguese stars who have found their way into the national team.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Frank Lampard is currently in discussion with Crystal Palace as veteran boss Roy Hodgson has revealed he would to step down at the end of the season, The Sun.

The former Chelsea boss has been tipped as favourite to land the appointment at Selhurst Park as Hodgson will out of contract this summer.

The 73-year-old managed the Eagles for four years and kept them afloat in the Premier League all through his 167 games as boss.
