Harry Kane appears to have made joining Manchester City in a deal of around £100 million his top priority this summer.

The England striker stunned the world after tendering his transfer request to the Spurs' board a few games to the end of the ongoing season.

His decision to quit came following the North Londoners' failure to beat Man City and win their first silverware in about a decade.

Sources claim the 27-year-old wants Tottenham to listen to offers from the Citizens or any other interested team as reported by The Mirror.

Recalled that Real Madrid at one point also made attempts to sign the striker but the outbreak of the coronavirus seems to have made them abandon the project.

However, Los Blancos may be encouraged to chase the attacker again after his quest to leave his present club at the end of this season.

Kane currently earns £200,000-a-week at the White Hart Lane but joining another club could give him the opportunity to earn more if he makes the megadeal move.

Meanwhile, apart from City who seem to be in the driving seat, Manchester United and Chelsea are also interested but it is left to be seen which of the clubs Spurs would sell to.

Although it will be difficult for Kane to leave as Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is adamant he does not want to sell this summer.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho helped Leicester City salvage a point for themselves in their Premier League 1-1 draw against Southampton earlier this weekend.

The 24-year-old provided the assist for Jonny Evans' 68th-minute goal at St Mary's Stadium to stretch their unbeaten run in the league to three games.

His recent performance has now positioned him as the most resurgent player in the Premier League in the last six games - taking over from Tottenham Hotspur legend Harry Kane according to football stats website, whoscored.com.
