Super Eagles duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi together with all their teammates at Premier League side Leicester City will reportedly collect £40,000 each which is around N23.1M for winning the FA Cup title.

For the first time in the club's history, Brendan Rodgers and his wards shocked the Blues at the Wembley stadium to win the FA Cup in what was an incredible record.

According to the report on Complete Sports citing Daily Mail, Leicester City players are still expected to get more money if they should beat Chelsea in their next Premier League game on Tuesday night, May 18.

A win for Leicester City over Chelsea will give them Champions League ticket for next season which will be a great one for Kelechi Iheanacho and Ndidi.

But Leicester City players must be aware that the next tie against Chelsea will be a tough one as the Blues are still nursing the pains of them losing the FA Cup final.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Victor Ikpeba who played at two World Cup tournaments for Nigeria took a dig at Premier League side Chelsea branding the Stamford Bridge landlords as specialists in losing finals.

The 47-year-old made this assertion following Chelsea's defeat against big rivals Leicester City in the final of the FA Cup which was played at the Wembley Stadium.

Leicester City's win over Chelsea at Wembley was their first ever triumph in the FA Cup since the club was created 137 years ago.

Also, Legit.ng reported how Daniel Amartey who currently plays for Leicester City in the Premier League could be landing himself in some trouble after being caught throwing Chelsea's pennant on the floor.

This happened after his side defeated the Stamford Bridge landlords in the final of the 2020/21 FA Cup which was played at the Wembley Stadium.

Club pennants are traditionally swapped before a game to mark the occasions while they are kept as souvenirs to remember the event.

Win over Chelsea was an historical one for Leicester City considering the fact that the Foxes have never won the title before in their history.
