Thomas Tuchel will be having £150million handed to him by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to making quality summer signings, Daily Mail reports.

The German gaffer made an instant impact since he took over from Frank Lampard in January, leading the Blues into the Champions League and FA Cup finals.

Despite spending £253m on the likes of Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Edouard Mendy and Hakim Ziyech the west London club want more quality players to challenge for the title.

The Sun, Tuchel claims Tuchel will now be given funds to improve particular areas of his squad for next season.

The Londoners have been linked with a move for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland but will face competition from Premier League rivals Man City.

Werner has only managed 12 goals in 48 appearances all season and there is need for Chelsea to sign a world class player with Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham both expected to leave the club.

Tottenham's Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku are also options the Blues are weighing but the Englishman would not want to play for a London rival while the Inter star favours a return to one of his former clubs.

Tuchel will consider signing Bayern Munich's center-back Niklas Sule to boost his defensive options next term.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Thomas Tuchel has admitted that his player rotation caused Chelsea's defeat to Arsenal in the London derby played at Stamford Bridge, The Sun.

The German gaffer who has been on an impressive run since becoming manager of the Blues blamed himself for the 1-0 defeat to the Gunners.

Emile Smith-Rowie grabbed the only goal of the game after a costly mistake by Jorginho which caught Kepa Arrizabalaga off his lines, as the Spaniard scrambled to keep the ball off the line.

Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang then followed up with his assist that gave the young Englishman the only goal of the match.
