Nigerian star Victor Moses endured a serious heartbreak 24 hours to his wedding after being shown a red card during Chelsea's FA Cup defeat to Arsenal at Wembley Stadium in 2017.

The winger enjoyed a massive playing time under Antonio Conte when he was the Blues boss between 2016 and 2018.

He guided them to win the Premier League and FA Cup before parting ways with the London club at the end of the 2017-18 season.

Moses started as a wing-back for the Stamford Bridge side but after two warning cards, he was shown the way out of the pitch in the 68th minute.

The experience was however said to have played in his head while he walked down the aisle with his bride the following day after the match as reported by SunSport.

His wedding was not a loud one as just close family members, friends, and colleagues attended the service.

Before the arrival of Conte in 2016, Moses had been out of favour with previous managers as he was sent out on loan to different clubs.

As a wing-back, he started 29 Premier League matches that season as he played a crucial part in their title triumph.

Moses has been on loan at Spartak Moscow all season long and he has equally spent time at Liverpool, Inter Milan, Stoke City, West Ham United, and a few others.

Legit.ng earlier reported that former Nigerian international Victor Moses will leave Premier League club, Chelsea, on a permanent basis during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

The former Wigan Athletic man who joined the Blues in 2002 managed 87 appearances for the club where he scored 7 goals.

He has been on loan to seven different clubs including Liverpool, Stoke City, West Ham, Fenerbahce, Inter Milan, and Spartak Moscow where he currently plays.
