Popular Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan recently shared a lovely family photo on social media to mark the end of the month of Ramadan.

He decided to use the opportunity to address the news that has been going around concerning his state of health.

Sahara reporters had earlier revealed that Sultan was battling throat cancer in the United States of America.

In the post which the singer shared on his official Instagram page, he wished his Muslim fans the best and made sure to remind non-Muslims that it was not the time to kill ram.

He then said that he cannot ignore the recent show of love from people and he would tell his story himself when he is ready and it would be the truth.

He wrote:

"EID MUBARAK to my lovely Muslim brothers and sisters. May Almighty Allah accept our fast as an act of Ibadah. INSTAGRAM !!! THIS IS NOT THE ONE WITH RAM. I must not ignore the massive show of love. Thank you all. I will tell you my story myself it will be true then not false."
