For organising his birthday party at a hotel, police officers have fined Romelu Lukaku over the possible spread of coronavirus in Italy, SunSport reports.

Officers broke up the event and the striker was fined alongside his teammate Ashley Young who was also found at the scene of the party.

Both players have just helped Inter Milan win the Serie A title and Belgium international Romelu Lukaku scored his 22nd goal of the season as Inter beat Roma 3-1 on Wednesday.

However just days after, armed policemen raided the famous Milan city-centre and the player for flouting local Covid restrictions, together with three team-mates and 20 other guests.
