Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that the governor of Ondo state, Rotimi Akeredolu, declared that Nigeria must be restructured to show true federalism.

The governor made the comment when he received a delegation from pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, on Tuesday, March 23.

Governor Akeredolu also said that the people who are of the opinion that restructuring is about secession are wrong.

Afenifere had commended the governor on the creation of the Western Security Network, codenamed Amotekun Corps.

In a related development, Pat Utomi, has said many politicians from the northern part of the country have a phobia for restructuring.

According to the professor of political economy, some politicians in the north are afraid of restructuring because they are uncertain about where it will lead them.
