Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey are reuniting, this time to co-produce an exciting new docu-series which will highlight issues of mental health. The duo hopes to de-stigmatise issues of mental health by sharing the everyday struggles of well-known public figures.

Speaking on the new venture, Harry, who recently opened up to Winfrey about his own mental health scares, says he hopes the show will remind viewers that we are all human, battling with our own unresolved traumas and grief.

He added that he hopes the docu-series will show viewers there is power in vulnerability, connection in empathy, and strength in honesty.

Sharing her thoughts on the new endeavour, Winfrey echoed a similar sentiment. The iconic TV journalist says she hopes the series will start a healthy dialogue:

“Now more than ever, there is an immediate need to replace the shame surrounding mental health with wisdom, compassion, and honesty. Our series aims to spark that global conversation.”

The series, titled “The Me You Can't See” will premiere on Apple TV+ on May 21, and include guest appearances from award-winning musician Lady Gaga and “Hillbilly Elegy” star Glenn Close.

According to her, the storyline stems from her observation of the father-son relationship between her husband Prince Harry and Archie.

The book, set to be published on June 8, will also exist in audio form to be released at a later date.
