The general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye on Thursday, May 6, made his first public appearance following the death of his son, Pastor Dare Adeboye.

Legit.ng gathered that the cleric featured at the May Edition of the church’s Holy Communion service.

Recall that Dare was reported to have died on Tuesday, May 4, in Eket, Akwa Ibom state, where he was based with his family.

The general overseer ministered from the studio of the church’s station, DOVE Media, while members of his church congregated in the auditorium.

This development is coming a few hours after RCCG released an official statement concerning the death of the 42-year-old.

The church in a statement signed by the public relations department posted on its Twitter handle on May 6, confirmed Pastor dare's demise.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Pastor Leke Adeboye reacted to the death of his brother as news about the incident trended on Nigerian social media space.
