The touching story of a young man, Solomon Kolawole, who survived cancer has made the rounds on social media after he showed his appreciation to popular crossdresser, Bobrisky, for helping him during his sickness.
In an interview with iBrandTV, the young man recounted how he was diagnosed with two types of cancer, lymphoma and leukaemia.
According to him, he lost a lot of weight and was referred to professionals at LASUTH where his condition was discovered. Kolawole recounted how some of his body parts were swollen.

He added that during his trying times, he sometimes wished for death due to the pains he was going through.
The young man shared how he sought for funds from the public for his chemotherapy. Kolawole’s story was shared by a popular Nigerian newspaper but the funds were not forthcoming so he reached out to Bobrisky.
Bobrisky immediately took interest in the young man’s case and sent him some money. Not stopping there, the crossdresser publicised Kolawole’s case on his page and that was when things changed.
In no time, people started to donate to the cause and he was able to raise over N2 million for his chemotherapy and other treatments.

In the video shared on his private Instagram page, the young man advised people to show love for people without expecting anything because what works for one person might not work for another.
