Jose Mourinho's new appointment with Serie A side Roma will cost Tottenham a payoff amount of £10million, The Sun, Sky Sports.
It was barely two weeks since the Portuguese gaffer was asked to step down as manager before landing another top job in Europe.
The 58-year-old will be making his return to Italy after handling Inter Milan for two seasons winning the Scudetto in his first and landing a Champions League title.

He has signed a three-year deal with the Italians worth £5m a year — compared to the annual £15m he was getting at Spurs.
The Special One signed a three-year deal to manage at the Stadio Olimpico and will be getting £5m annual pay with the Serie A giants.
However, Tottenham will also be paying off the Portuguese gaffer £10m based on the agreement that he gets another job before the end of the current season.
The initial agreement was £15m and the Lily Whites have now saved £5m if Mourinho was still unemployed at the start of next season.
Mourinho who had spells with top English sides including two spells with Chelsea, Man United and Spurs is keen to show he is not at fault nor been affected by his shock departure after just 17 months in charge.
The Portuguese boss also recorded a successful spell with Real Madrid, winning two Cop del Rey trophies and wrestling La Liga shield off dominant Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho has expressed delight having bagged the managerial job at Italian Serie A outfit AS Roma.
The ‘Special One’ was announced manager of the Italian club on Tuesday afternoon, May 4, exactly two weeks after he was ousted at English Premier League side AS Roma.
He will now replace his compatriot Paulo Fonseca when he steps down from the Italian club at the end of the season.
