Baba Ijesha CCTV Footage: Yomi Fabiyi Wages War Against Adults Involved, Drags Lawyers, Social Workers, Others

- Yomi Fabiyi is calling out lawyers, social workers among others who fail to see the crimes of adults involved in the Baba Ijesha CCTV footage

- According to the actor, the adults involved in filming the footage have committed more than seven crimes as stipulated by the child laws in the country

Nollywood’s Yomi Fabiyi is not backing down from the ongoing Baba Ijesha saga and he recently shared a post indicating his strong reservations against those who fail to see the crimes of adults involved in capturing the CCTV footage.

The actor called out lawyers, social workers, police officers, government representatives and members of the bench who have taken up the sexual assault case against the actor but are not pressing for those involved in recording the minor to be brought to book.

He said:

"Any Human Rights NGO, Lawyer, Social Worker, Diplomat, Government Representative, Police, Members of the Bench, Informed Adult, etc that see SXUAL ASSAULT by Baba Ijesha but didn’t see over 7 or more serious crimes committed by other adults in the CCTV against the child and laws of Nigeria is a tragedy to honest justice system, they are uninformed, bias and a threat to peace."

In a different portion of his post, the actor explained that a petition is being prepared which is going to be sent to the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa.

Fabiyi noted that if the two do not act on the petition, there’s also an option of sending it to representatives of the United Nations and other ambassadors in the country.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the Lagos state government made a move to charge Baba Ijesha to court for sexual assault.

This was made known in a statement signed by the state commissioner of justice. The Nollywood film star is to be charged using five sections under the criminal law of Lagos state.
