Legit.ng gathered that two locations were raided and federal agents confiscated computers and cell phones, adding that this is a marked escalation in the investigation into Giuliani. His business dealings are being scrutinised, particularly his work in Ukraine.

Trump described Giuliani as a "great patriot". He slammed the authorities and accused the FBI of double standards.

The former president vaguely mentioned corruption while defending Giuliani. He said Giuliani loved his country and it was sad that this happened to him.
