Instead, Ronaldo decided to give his fellow countryman Pedro Pereira who is currently on loan at Crotone from Sampdoria.
The Nigerian striker was displeased with the gesture but he hopes he would have the opportunity to swap shirts with Lionel Messi and Robert Lewandowski in the future.
The Super Eagles forward was quoted by Tribuna:
“I tried to exchange the shirt with Cristiano Ronaldo, but he gave it to Pedro Pereira who is Portuguese like him..
“I would like those of Messi and Lewandowski.”
Simy and his team got relegated following the 2-0 loss to league leaders Inter Milan, a result that ensured the Nerazzurri were crowned champions of Italy.
The Nigerian international is the league's third highest goalscorer behind Ronaldo and Romelu Lukaku with 19 goals for the Pythagoreans.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Simeon Nwankwo and his side Crotone have been relegated to the second division after suffering a 2-0 loss to Serie A leaders Inter Milan, Complete Sports.
The team had only gained promotion from Serie B last season but will return to the second-tier of the Italian division.
Goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi was enough to draw the league leaders closers to their first title in a decade.
Despite Nwankwo's 19 Serie A goals this season, Crotone could only register one shot on target which did not pose a threat to the goalkeeper.
Legit.ng had also reported that Cristiano Ronaldo scored two late goals to help Juventus grind a hard earned win over Udinese in a Serie A fixture.
The Bianconeri had conceded the league title to rivals Inter Milan, ending their quest to win a tenth straight trophy of the Italy's topflight division.
Andrea Pirlo's men knew they had to record a win to keep them in contention for second position after Atlanta and Napoli dropped points in their games against Sassuolo and Cagliari respectively.
But it was the home team that first took the lead as a quickly taken free kick by Rodrigo De Paul found Nahuel Molina who blasted the ball past Wojciech Szczesny in goal to make it 1-0 after ten minutes.
