Simeon Nwankwo and his side Crotone have been relegated to the second division after suffering a 2-0 loss to Serie A leaders Inter Milan, Complete Sports.

The team had only gained promotion from Serie B last season but will return to the second-tier of the Italian division.

Goals from Christian Eriksen and Achraf Hakimi was enough to draw the league leaders closers to their first title in a decade.

Despite Nwankwo's 19 Serie A goals this season, Crotone could only register one shot on target which did not pose a threat to the goalkeeper.
