Paul Onuachu scored his 30th league goal of the season in Genk's narrow 3-2 win over Royal Antwerp in the Jupiler League Championship group.

The four top teams in the Belgian topflight league with play against each other and whoever tops the group will be declared winner of the Belgian league.

The Super Eagles forward has never seemed to be slowing down as he helped his club grind out a win in the five-goal thriller.

Genk took the lead through Belgian star Theo Bongonda in the 20th minute but Maxime Le Marchand brought both sides back on level terms in the 57th.

Antwerp then got their noses in front with a 61st strike from Koji Miyosh courtesy of an assist from Democratic Republic of Congo striker Dieumerci Mbokani.

Onuachu leveled matters with his 30th of the season in the 73rd minute and Bongonda completed his brace and the match-winner with two minutes left on time.

The win takes Genk to top of the championship table and still have Anderletch and Club Brugge to play next.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Nigerian international Paul Onuachu helped Genk to a 2-1 win against Standard Liege in the final of the Belgian Cup at the Stade Roi Baudouin, Brussel on Sunday night.

The Super Eagles forward was in action for 90 minutes in the thrilling encounter. His international teammate Cyriel Dessers was unused substitute for Genk.

Yunja Ito put Genk ahead in the 48th minute, while Theo Bongonda doubled the advantage in the 81st minute.

Legit.ng also reported that Victor Osimhen's profile is currently on the rise as he is gradually returning to goalscoring form for Napoli since he returned from injury.

The 24-year-old was recently spotted in a photo on his Twitter handle with an expensive ice-gold chain wrapped around his neck.

The Nigerian international still showed the love he has for his late parents as used a photo of them as pendants dangling at the end of the chain.
