Added to this, the state government also ordered security agencies to enforce this order, Vanguard also reported.

This same directive was issued to the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) in Zamfara.

Meanwhile, in efforts to end banditry and other forms of criminality in the northern region, President Muhammadu Buhari had been asked to sustain the peace and dialogue initiated by Zamfara state.

Matawalle said this when he received a delegation from the federal government, led by the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.

The delegation was in the state over the fire incident at the Tudun Wada Market, Gusau. Matawalle said all conflicts that have an ethnic dimension can best be resolved through dialogue.
