Allan Saint-Maximin Slams Liverpool Fan who Asked him to Swap Clubs with Sadio Mane

Newcastle winger Allan Saint-Maximin hit out at a fan on Twitter for suggesting Liverpool should exchange him for Sadio Mane.
The Frenchman was instrumental for his Newcastle side on Saturday, April 24, as the Magpies frustrated Liverpool to a 1-1 draw thanks to a last grasp equaliser from Joe Willock.
Saint-Maximin has been the stand out player for Steve Bruce’s side this season and after his performance against Liverpool, he was handed a rating of 8 by local paper The Chronicle.
In contrast, Mane did not have the best of days, and the game against Newcastle was one of those ‘bad days in the office’ for the Senegalese.
Maximin exchanged words with fans after the game and among them was one incensed Liverpool fan who complimented his game, but at Mane’s expense.
“Can you come to Liverpool and Mane goes the other way?” a Twitter user by the name Reginald Phalange from Nigeria asked.
The 24-year old appreciated the support but was slightly offended by the fact that the fan decided to slam Sadio Mane’s abilities because of one bad game.
“I know you think it’s a nice message to me but I don’t like this,” Saint Maximin replied.
“Be respectful to him please you are ungrateful, he did and he’s doing a lot for Liverpool, there still a long way before I could reach his level.”
Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Premier League club Liverpool failed to move into the top four after failing to hold onto their lead as Newcastle deny the Reds all three points at Anfield.
Mohamed Salah stormed down the tunnel in despair as Jurgen Klopp’s side could not believe they yet again fail to move into the top four position.
They couldn’t get that crucial second goal, despite being presented with a lot of opportunities in the encounter, and they were punished by the visitors as Arsenal on-loan star Joe Willock struck in the 95th minute to hand Newcastle a vital point away from home.
