Super Eagles Captain Musa Donates Millions of Naira for the Construction of Mosque in a Nigerian School

There was absolute jubilation at the Bukavu Military Secondary School in Kano on Thursday evening when Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa visited the citadel of learning.

Known for his community services, Ahmed Musa was happy to meet the principal, staff and others in the school as he donated the sum of two million naira for the construction of a Mosque.

According to the report by Nigerian club Kano Pillars, Ahmed Musa decided to go to the school premises after his evening training and was well welcomed by the authorities.

Kano Pillars added that Ahmed Musa has also promised to renovate some of the classrooms in the school and will provide other necessities.

The former Leicester City star also spoke with the students of the school and warned them to stay away from what will destroy their careers in education.

While responding, Alhaji Yusuf Saidu who is the director of the school thanked Ahmed Musa for his gesture and prayed to God for more blessings.

Speaking with Legit.ng on the development, Kano Pillars goalie Suraju Ayeleso praised Ahmed Musa for his kindness adding that the Super Eagles captain has been boosting their morale in camp.

''I must confess that Ahmed Musa has been like a tonic for us since he rejoined Kano Pillars and I will continue to appreciate the fact that I am currently his teammates.
''What he did in the Secondary School is just one of the good things Ahmed Musa is doing around which is awesome.''

Meanwhile, Kano Pillars will resume the second stanza of the League away at Warri Wolves on May 9, and Ahmed Musa is expected to play for the Sai Masugida.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Super Eagles captain Ahmed Musa will only travel for away games for Kano Pillars by flight this season.

This was disclosed by the club's chairman Surajo Yahaya as he stated that such a measure is to ensure the player’s safety.

Musa opened up on his decision to make a return to the NPFL claiming that he rejoined Kano Pillars so as to help boost the image of the League.

Musa starred for Kano Pillars between 2009 and 2012 before moving to Europe to join VVV-Venlo on loan and later featured for CSKA Moscow, Leicester City and Al Nassr.
