Music Helped Me Survive a Tough Childhood - Rising Musician Acebergtm Says In New EP

Ikechukwu Okoronkwo aka Acebergtm has shared his grass to grace story. The rising singer who is the second child in a family of 5 children revealed to Legit.ng that music kept him safe from a childhood fraught with the usual youthful exuberances.
“Growing up as a kid, music turned out to be my only escape from peer pressure and other vices which kids my age were involved in such as smoking and street fighting.
I got a strong sense of peace and satisfaction every time I heard my favorite songs growing up. My interest grew even more as I got older, I wanted to write, sing, rap, perform just like my favorite artists I saw on tv." He said.

Knowing how the industry works, Acebergtm kept on working and improving himself as a musician till 2019 when luck smiled on him and he caught the attention of Sir Justine, CEO of Sir Justine World Entertainment Ltd (SJW Entertainment), who eventually signed him to the label in February 2020.
At the time of his joining SJW, the label had frontline acts Victor AD, and Peruzzi on its books.

Acebergtm's relationship with Sir Justine and his label led to his release of his debut EP titled Far From Home. Songs off the project include; Rockstar, Slow wine, Bella, What I Like, Loyal and the hit single Danca. He also worked with well-respected producers Tempoe, Kel P and JFred on the EP.
This is coming after popular singer Tiwa Savage revealed in a recent interview that she once considered bleaching her skin.
Tiwa made this known while speaking with Allure Magazine. The mother of one opened up on how she felt out of place with her white friends as a teenager and tried to make her skin lighter.
