Arsenal Fans Beg Nigerian Billionaire To Buy Club After Super League Saga

Aliko Dangote has never hidden his ambitions in buying Premier League giants Arsenal and is looking like it going to come through.
The Gunners were among the six English clubs that joined the European Super League but all have withdrawn their interests and fans are now asking questions about owner Stan Kroenke's credibility.
The north London faithful have been asking questions about how the team have fared in recent years and the mode of spending on the first team.

Arsenal last featured in the Champions League in 2006 and ever since the club have struggled to finish in the top-four places in the league.
And this season looks even worse with their only hopes of playing continental football next season lies on winning the Europa League after making it through to the semi finals.
According to reports, joining the Super League was envisaged by Kroenke with the view of making the London side the best in the world.

The resignation of Ed Woodward as Man United chief executive has sparked off reactions from fans calling for the same for Kroenke and pleading for Dangote to buy the club.
Back in January 2020 before the lockdown, Dangote revealed plans on buying Arsenal after building his refinery.
"It is a team that yes I would like to buy someday, but what I keep saying is we have $20 billion worth of projects and that's what I really want to concentrate on. I'm trying to finish building the company and then after we finish, maybe sometime in 2021 we can.
"I'm not buying Arsenal right now, I'm buying Arsenal when I finish all these projects because I'm trying to take the company to the next level."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Conor McGregor has cheekily said that he is considering buying Manchester United after they pulled out the Super League, Daily Mail.
The Red Devils also announced that Chief Executive Ed Woodward will also leave his role at the club by the end of the season.
McGregor who was a boyhood United fan, took to his social media handle to ask fans for their view on his sudden plan to buy the Old Trafford outfit.
