A Nigerian-born American professional wrestler, Sesugh Uhaa, has been celebrated on social media by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM).

The wrestler recently made Nigeria proud by debfeating Ettore “Big E” Ewen to become the new intercontinental champion.

In a viral video, Sesugh who is popularly called Apollo Crew promised to defeat his opponent and he did just that.

Celebrating Apollo Crew on Twitter, NIDCOM wrote:

"Nigerian Born American professional wrestler, Sesugh Uhaa @WWEApollo promised to make Nigeria proud and he just did that by defeating @WWEBigE to become the NEW #ICChampion! #AndNew #WrestleMania Champion.

"Congratulations Champion."

Nigerians soon flooded the comment section of the post to congratulate their countryman.
