Wike who was referring to the campaign promises made by the ruling party back in 2015, alleged that Buhari’s administration failed to deliver on all even after the elections.

He, however, commended the PDP-led administration in Rivers state for providing infrastructure in various parts of the state.

The Rivers state governor also expressed hope that by 2023, no politician would be able to manipulate election results in any part of the country as the electorate has become more knowledgeable to resist electoral fraud.

Wike had earlier said politicians whose strength is only to make promises and not fulfil them would no longer be tolerated, The Guardian reports.

He stressed the need for accountability among politicians to not only nurse such ambitions but also have the requisite competence to deliver.
