Serious war by relatives over late Diego Maradona's fortunes has taken another dimension as his elder sister Lil has been sent out of the family home in an heartbreaking situation.

Diego Maradona who was one of the best strikers in the world during his active playing time died in November 2020, and ever since his death, there have been fights among family members over his properties.

Lil who is Diego Maradona's eldest sister is said to have been living in the house Diego Maradona bought in Buenos Aires and was even with the late football icon until his death.

But according to the report on UK Sun, 16 other relatives of the deceased were not happy and went to court for Lil to be sent out of the house.

They are all battling over Diego Maradona's estimated £60million fortune he left behind after his heartbreaking demise.

The report added that a source explained below.

“Diego’s acknowledged daughters Dalma, Giannina and Jana and representatives of sons ­Dieguito Fernando and Diego Junior wanted Lili out.

“It was a difficult and emotional decision but it is essential that the house is unoccupied while the inheritance is decided. The legal process demands it.”

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how latest reports have it that £5million (about N2.5billion) was found in the bank accounts of late Diego Maradona which he left for his children.

It was gathered that Maradona had told his close friends before he died that he had around £75m (about N37.5billion).

Varying figures of what he left behind has emerged on several occasions, but acing lawyer to his youngest son Diego Fernando admitted the former footballer’s fortune as he laid bare the former footballer’s problem financial situation.

Diego Maradona passed away on November 25, 2020 at the age of 60 in his country home in Buenos Aires.

Investigations into the unfortunate death of the legend is beginning to take shape as two nurses and a psychologist were allegedly part of the plot.

With reports that Diego was already recovering, the news of his death was surprising to many, hence, the authorities in Argentina decided to look into the real cause.
