While South Africa is yet to secure first doses of the COVID-19 vaccinations for its people, other countries have already rolled out second doses for most of their people - England is one of them. Queen Elizabeth recently made her appearance at an event without a mask after she received her second dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
The Queen, who is now fully vaccinated, went out to mark the Centenary of the Royal Australian Air Force at the CWGC Air Forces Memorial in Surrey which is just a short distance away from Windsor castle, without a mask.
In January this year, it was confirmed by the royal family that the queen and her husband Prince Phillip had received the first dose of the vaccine but made no mention as to when they would be taking the second dose.
The Guardian previously reported that the queen had remarked that getting the vaccine wasn't painful at all. During an interview with BBC, she also encouraged her people to consider going for the jab.

It has been decided that amidst the pandemic, the Queen and presumably her husband, Prince Philip, would not be returning to their permanent home, Buckingham Palace, for the foreseeable future.
Queen Elizabeth had made her first public appearance since the lockdown began in the UK on Sunday, May 31, 2020.
The 94-year-old monarch was caught on camera riding her favourite horse at Windsor Castle.
