Zidane was recalled to the team after ending his contract at the end of the 2018 season despite winning the Champions League for the third time in a row.

Reports in Spain claim that president Florentino Perez is lining up youth boss Raul or Low if Zidane decides to leave at the end of the season.

Raul made 741 appearances for Los Merengues and has taken charge of the club's academy since 2019 which was also managed by Zidane before becoming Real's first team coach in 2016.

Raul's current spell as Castilla boss was better than that of the French gaffer due to his daring tactical ability.

On the other hand, Low will be leaving the German national side after a 14-year spell at the end of Euro 2021.
