Good news for Chelsea as summer target rejects 2-year contract with top Serie A club

Gianluigi Donnarumma's prospects of joining Chelsea have received a massive boost after the Italian shot-stopper rejected a new deal with AC Milan, Daily Mail.

Reports in Italy claim the 22-year-old and his agent Mino Raiola turned down a new contract offer from the Rossoneri which means he will become a free agent in the summer.

Donnarumma was reportedly offered a salary of £5.1million-per-year with an additional £851,000-per-year in bonuses should the San Siro outfit make it through to next season's Champions League.

The Italy international will out of contract at the end of the season and it is understood the Blues are monitoring the situation.
