Reports in Italy claim the 22-year-old and his agent Mino Raiola turned down a new contract offer from the Rossoneri which means he will become a free agent in the summer.
Donnarumma was reportedly offered a salary of £5.1million-per-year with an additional £851,000-per-year in bonuses should the San Siro outfit make it through to next season's Champions League.
Milan tabled another offer of a £6m salary plus £851,000 in add-ons which was also rejected by Italy's number one goalkeeper.
It is understood that the youngster wants not less than £10.2m-per-year to sign on the dotted lines for the Italian giants.
Juventus, Manchester United and Real Madrid have all been linked with the talented shot-stopper for a summer move.
On the other hand, Chelsea are also on the wings for Donnarumma despite spending £94million on Kepa Arrizabalaga (£72m) and Edouard Mendy (£22m) in the last few years.
Donnarumma's arrival at Stamford Bridge would likely confirm the exit of world's most expensive goalkeeper's departure Arrizabalaga.
