A goal each from Victor Osimhen, Oghenekaro Etebo, and Paul Onuachu lifted coach Gernot Rohr's men above the visitors.

The three-time African champions however finished atop of Group L with 14 points after six games - meaning they went through the process without a defeat.

Meanwhile, a few players were more impressive with their performances all through their stay on the pitch.

After following the game through, Legit.ng lists six exceptional Super Eagles stars in the encounter and topping the list is:

1. Victor Osimhen:

The Napoli star was on the pitch for 76 minutes and he had a goal and an assist to show for his stunning display. He was a pain in the next of the visitors' defenders before being taken out.

2. Oghenekaro Etebo:

The Galatasaray midfielder was also on the scores sheet for the hosts after powering home a short-range effort assisted by Osimhen. His presence in the middle of the park made it difficult for Lesotho to command possession.

3. Samuel Chukwueze: The Villarreal winger terrorised the Crocodiles from the flanks before being removed for Iwuala Anayo in the 86th minute.

4. Kelechi Iheanacho: The Leicester City man didn't get on the scores sheet, he was however impressive during his stay. He assisted Osimhen's goal and put up some exceptional displays.

5. Wilfred Ndidi has mostly been terrific for his Premier League club this campaign and the defensive midfielder replicated the same performance for the Eagles. He shielded the centre-backs well enough to give them some free time on the pitch.

6. Alex Iwobi mostly played a free role before coming off for Henry Onyekuru. The former Arsenal man was almost everywhere and made his inclusion made the game a little more exciting in Gernot Rohr's set up.

Legit.ng earlier reported that The Super Eagles of Nigeria had an easy 3-0 win over the Crocodiles of Lesotho in their final AFCON 2021 qualifying match at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Gernot Rohr's men had already qualified for the tournament but played for pride as the Nigerian national team return to Lagos after more than two decades.

Nigeria's first chance of the game came in the 8th minute when Samuel Chukwueze advanced Oghenekaro Etebo. The Galatasaray man delivered a low rocket which left goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane sprawling.
