Usually, whenever a giveaway is announced on social media, it usually ends with people either winning cash gifts, free items in good condition, and in cases of business pages, products and services.

However, this was not the case for a lady who joined a giveaway for shoes as what was meant to be a delight turned out to be quite a rude shock for her.

Facebook user, Bella Egooyibo Ubeoyibo Obi, shared photos of some worn-out shoes which a lady received in a giveaway.

In the screenshots of the conversation Bella had with the said lady, the shoes were eight in number, all of them in bad conditions.

The said lady narrated that when she went to pick up the items, she didn't open to check until she got back home.

She expressed shock at the conditions of the shoes, stating that she wouldn't even give them to a beggar.

Still on giveaway experiences, Frodd has taken to social media to share his encounter with a giveaway winner whom he had mistakenly sent N45,000 more than the established amount.

Frodd, in a series of Instagram stories, opened up about how he planned to give out the sum of N5,000 each to 10 single mothers as his way of supporting them.

During the course of transferring the money, he mistakenly added an extra zero to the amount, making it N50,000 instead of N5,000.
