Four Nigerians have been selected for Mastercard Scholarship at McGill University in Canada.

The disclosure was made by a Canada-based Nigerian man identified as Hammed A. Akande, who was one of the first recipients of the scholarship.

Hammed and his friend received the scholarship in 2018, and ever since then, more Nigerians have won it.

According to Hammed, three Nigerians won it in 2019 and two citizens of the country received the scholarship the following year.

More Nigerians won it in 2021 and Hammed couldn't have been prouder.
