Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane has reportedly emerged as a priority target for Spanish League giants Real Madrid this summer.

Los Blancos recently tilted towards landing England forward since their quest to bring either Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe is taking a longer time.

Both youngsters are the hottest attackers in the world at the moment but their clubs will not be ready to part ways with them anytime soon.

However, the 13-time European champions appear to be preparing for life after Karim Benzema and will make a bid for the Spurs star at the end of this season.

The 27-year-old is contracted to the North London club until the summer of 2024 but he might not be able to turn down a chance to play for the La Liga defending champions when they call according to SunSport quoting SER Deportivos

Kane has found the back of the net 27 times and assisted 16 other goals in all competitions this campaign and he could eventually fill the void Cristiano Ronaldo left if he moves to Spain.

The England international has spent his whole career at Spurs but he might decide to walk away if they fail to win silverware this campaign.

Tottenham will face Manchester City in the final of the EFL Cup next month - a rare opportunity to end their title drought, yet the speculation over his future will not go away.

Jose Mourinho's men were dumped out of the Europa League after a dismal defeat at Dinamo Zagreb and this loss could encourage Kane to seek a move to a team capable of challenging for titles.

Ex-Tottenham striker Peter Crouch raised doubts over Kane's future at the club after their shock European exit. Crouch told BT Sport:

"Harry Kane shouldn't even be playing in this competition. He's a Champions League player.
"He's a player who should be there with [Robert] Lewandowski, [Erling] Haaland, [Kylian] Mbappe - he's up there with those."

Real and Tottenham are not new transferring players between them with Gareth Bale and Luka Modric topping the list of transfers between two clubs.

Legit.ng earlier reported that Jose Mourinho has vowed to give Tottenham Hotspur chief Daniel Levy a trophy to celebrate two decades in charge of the club.

Spurs host Dinamo Zagreb at White Hart Lane on Thursday in the first leg of a Europa League last-16 tie- the same day the 59-year-old is celebrating 20 years as the head of the club.

Though the Premier League has slipped off their sleeves as they currently trail Manchester City with a staggering 23 points, however, the Spurs have a chance to win the EFL Cup next month.
