Johnathon McCauley's joy holds no bounds as he recently acquired a Master's degree 27 years after quitting secondary school.

In a Linkedln post he made in celebration of the feat, Johnathon said it was a dream turned reality and thanked all who helped him every step of the way.

Johnathon, a retiree of the United States Air Force, was also full of praises to the staff of the varsity that awarded him the degree - Purdue University Global.

The elated man could be seen wearing a smile as he flaunted the certificate which was put in a frame.

He wrote:

"Not bad for a kid who dropped out of high school 27 years ago! Thanks again for all the support through the years to make this dream a reality. A huge thanks to the staff Purdue University Global, you all are beautiful people."

He got overwhelming responses to his post as many shared in his celebration. Another thing that was the cynosure of eyes was the fact that he framed the certificate. People loved it.

Tammy Kennedy said:

"Congratulations!! I share in your celebration and love the picture. I also would like to know where you got the tassel and frame? I have worked so hard, I would love to hang that on my wall!"
